What's new with you... change can impact your insurances

Think back to this time last year. Your work and home life may have looked very different. Perhaps you’ve had some additions to the family or maybe your offspring have just flown the nest. Failure to notify your insurer of these milestones could hit your hip pocket. Here we outline some of what you’ll need to know to help ensure you receive your full entitlements should you make a claim.

We can assist you to review your current insurances and coordinate with your insurer to make modifications or adjustments to help ensure your policies reflect your current circumstances at home and at work.

The key is to be appropriately protected for your circumstances. A comprehensive review will ascertain whether you are over or under insured. If you’re found to be under or over insured – either way you’ll be out of pocket. For instance, if you’re under insured at claim time you may find your cover insufficient, leaving you financially disadvantaged.

Likewise, if you are over insured you will be incurring unnecessary expense. We can guide you through the full range of insurances available to you including income protection designed to provide a financial benefit in the event of illness or injury, life insurance, total and permanent disablement (TPD) and Trauma insurance as well as business insurance to help protect your shareholding against a voluntary or involuntary exit from your business.

We are also equipped to facilitate the claims process – relieving you and those you love from additional undue stress, should you find yourself facing the unexpected. We will work on your behalf to ensure you and/or your beneficiaries receive their full entitlements as outlined in your policy.

If you would like to discuss a tailor-made package of insurances designed to reflect your current set of circumstances, please contact us on (02) 6041 8244.
